It seems that everyone now owns a digital camera but it is often difficult to understand all the functions and settings to get the best pictures. Berkhamsted photographer and trainer, Carole Niven is offering 2, 4 and 6 day courses to help. “In the course of my daily work I am constantly asked for advice, hints and tips on how best to use a digital camera. We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK and it is all right here on our doorstep. So I take small groups of aspiring photographers on gentle guided walks teaching them as we go.” As well as these landscape images there are studio based sessions included in the courses during which Carole explains about indoor lighting, close up and macro photography and editing your pictures to get the best print quality. There are courses running throughout the year and gift vouchers are available. “I always think it is such a shame that there are so many images that are downloaded onto PCs and that’s where they stay.
